No one can deny the great importance of communication skills in our lives, stating the fact that when people stop to communicate this will be the beginning of the end. Therefore, we have to keep developing our verbal and nonverbal communication skills to advance in our lives and careers. The most important thing is to know our communication rights and responsibilities, so we can communicate effectively and efficiently, hereunder are three communication rights and responsibilities to remember when you communicate with others.

1- You’ve the right to speak and express your own opinion.

but you’ve the responsibility to listen attentively what others say.

2- You’ve the right to be treated with respect.

but you’ve the responsibility to treat others with respect.

3- You’ve the right to ask for what you need and want.

but you’ve the responsibility to acknowledge and address the needs of others.

Final Thoughts:

At the end, I’d say that we should never think that we become perfect in communication, we should always believe that in every single day we’re willing to learn more about communication skills and remember that there’s always a space for improvement.
